The NBA today has arguably got some of the most unguardable players in its history. With the offensive talent rising up and the rules making it harder on defenders, offensive-oriented players are near unstoppable. And a former Rookie of the Year giving props to Stephen Curry as the toughest to guard has sent NBA Twitter into a frenzy.

Curry is undoubtedly one of the most skilled and unique players in NBA history. Gifted with unreal shooting ability, Curry is a nightmare for defenses. Adding to that, he is constantly in motion and he does not give his defender a moment to rest. This makes him one of the toughest matchups in the NBA.

And Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant was a first-hand witness to it. His team played against the Golden State Warriors in the second round of the playoffs last year, and Morant matched up against Curry.

Recently, Morant was asked who was the toughest player to guard in the NBA. And Morant said it was the four-time NBA champion.

Ja Morant and co. overcome New York Knicks in overtime

The Memphis Grizzlies began their camping with an overtime win over the New York Knicks. The Knicks came back from 19 points down and took the lead in the fourth quarter before the Grizzlies tied it up. The game went into overtime on a controversial call, as Ja Morant was called for an offensive foul on Jalen Brunson.

Morant led the way with 34 points, and 9 assists while Santi Aldama added in 18 points. Julius Randle was the top scorer for the Knicks with 24 points and 11 rebounds, but he fouled out in the fourth quarter. Cam Reddish chipped in with 22 points while Brunson added in 15 points and 9 assists.
