The Eastern Conference Finals between the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat have already delivered some epic moments. After a memorable Jimmy Butler performance in Game 1, Celtics forward Grant Williams had a heated moment with the Heat star in Game 2. The 6x All-Star went on to take it personally by leading a massive comeback, giving the Celtics another home loss. Even Williams had to give Butler his respect after the latter got the best of him in Game 2. However, a teammate of Williams had credited Butler one day before the game, calling the 33-year-old a role model.

Though the Celtics had a disappointing loss in Game 1, that did not stop the 2x All-Star from showing love to the Heat forward. Looks like Jimmy Butler is a star both on and off the court.

The Miami Heat have taken a commanding 2-0 lead with back-to-back comeback wins in Boston. Thanks to Jimmy Butler, who activated the playoff mode after late-game antics from Grant Williams. The 33-year-old seemingly wants his revenge on the Celtics very badly after last year’s disappointment. Or does he want an act of revenge on his friend?

Jaylen Brown is one of the best two-way players in the league, just like Jimmy Butler. Brown found a big role on the Celtics as soon as he joined the team in 2016. As years have passed by, the 26-year-old has only gotten better. Some credit must go to Jimmy Butler.

He’s been a role model in my life.”

Jimmy Buckets vs Jaylen Brown

Butler and Brown made it to the All-NBA second team this year. Both are in the same place now. However, a series win will help Butler move one step ahead of his friend. Brown and the Celtics got the best of Butler in the 2022 playoffs. That too in a Game 7, which was probably more hurtful for the 33-year-old. However, the Heat came out on top in 2020 on their way to the Finals.

Butler predicted the two teams would face off against each other in the playoffs this year after the Game 7 loss last year. The Heat star is two wins away from turning the prediction into reality. Do you think Jimmy Buckets can get it done at home? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
