The Sacramento Kings are on cloud nine!

The Sacramento Kings have had an amazing season so far, and it’s all thanks to their coach Mike Brown. The coach has led the team to second place on the Western Conference standings with an impressive 39-26 record.

The proud coach is the top choice for this year’s NBA Coach of the Year award across the league. From being a long shot away from the coach of the year title at the beginning of the season, to the Kings having far worse odds at making the playoffs. The coach has turned it around for the team in his first season in Sacramento. It surely could be the end of the longest playoff drought in NBA history.

Mike Brown is one of the most experienced coaches in the league. As part of the NBA staff, he has won 4 titles- once as part of the San Antonio Spurs, and three with the Golden State Warriors.

The Legion Hoops tweeted today applauding the Kings’ Coach, which received a response from the Akron Hammer.

Fans instantly started responding to James’ tweet by saying,

Brown coached LeBron James for five of the first seven years of his career.

Therefore, it’s not exactly surprising to see LeBron’s flying endorsement for Brown. As he coached James during his days with the Cleveland Cavaliers, helping him evolve into one of the greatest players in the league. Or as his fans call him, the GOAT!

The Sacramento Kings will be a worthy matchup for anyone come playoff time. Players like Domantas Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox are a formidable duo and with others including Malik Monk, Keegan Murray, and Kevin Huerter, there is no lack of reliable players on their roster.

LeBron wouldn’t want to face this team in the post-season probably because he knows firsthand the impact Mike Brown can have on a team. But the playoffs sure will be exciting!
