The Ben Simmons saga has taken a new turn. Simmons has been actively linked to trades with top teams all throughout the year. This time it is a Brooklyn Nets superstar who Philadelphia wants to bring in. The player linked to Philadelphia is none other than James Harden.

Will James Harden join the Philadelphia 76ers?

The 76ers were the frontrunners to land the signature of James Harden when he left the Houston Rockets. Although the deal did not go as planned earlier, the 76ers are still trying their best to land Harden in Philadelphia.

With Kyrie Irving and James Harden yet to sign a contract extension with the Nets, seeing Harden in a Philadelphia jersey is not impossible. Philadelphia plans to use Ben Simmons in a trade involving James Harden.

One thing is for sure, if Philadelphia wants to land Harden, it definitely is going to be next summer. The Brooklyn Nets are aiming for the NBA championship this year and look to hold on to their star players.

The 76ers continue to face problems with Ben Simmons and have eyes on players who can be traded for Simmons. The notable names on the list are Damian Lillard, James Harden, and Jaylen Brown.

The Philadelphia 76ers are missing star man Andre Drummond as he is in the health and safety protocols of the league. Shake Milton is also doubtful for the game against the Brooklyn Nets and it remains to be seen how the 76ers cope with such significant absentees.
