Ben Simmons, Who Had Ugly Feuds With 76ers Teammates, Reportedly Has Bad Blood With 2 Brooklyn Nets Colleagues

In this league’s biggest trade, the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets exchanged several players at the start of February right before the trade deadline elapsed. The Nets signed Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond, and two draft picks, and handed over James Harden and Paul Millsap. Through this, the deal was closed.

Based on the trades that have already taken place, time will tell who really benefited from the player exchange. At this point, it appears that the Nets are looking like the more powerful side on paper. Considering Simmons’ skill set and the Nets’ current situation, he will probably play once confirmation arrives.

Having Simmons on the court will undoubtedly improve the Nets’ defense. Kevin Durant will assist him in returning to the court after he recovers. From now on, the season is going to be interesting. 

Danny Green recently conveyed some inside information about the trade and the players’ relationship with each other, those who are being drafted to the Nets. It was pointed out how terrible Simmons’ relationship is with the two teammates getting to the Nets with him.

He explained how Simmons, who had ugly feuds with 76ers teammates, reportedly has bad blood with two Nets teammates in “Inside the Green Room.”. 

“First, let’s break that down. Interesting dynamic of how things went down. Interesting dynamic of who went with him. I haven’t had a chance to talk to those guys yet, but I know they weren’t on the most cordial terms when he was in Philly with Drum and Seth. So I wonder how that relationship is now. Regarding his relationship with Curry, Simmons has played with him in the 2020-21 season. There was great coordination between them. Simmons helped Curry achieve a successful season. Although Drummond joined the team in the offseason following that, he didn’t play with Simmons. It will be interesting to see what happens in future games.
