The recent game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers led people to question Stephen Curry and his performance. One of the names among them was Kendrick Perkins.

Curry’s performance was questioned in this tweet referring to him achieving six of twenty in the game. According to his performance, he made 3-of-14 downtown, which deprived him of another opportunity to surpass Ray Allen’s record as the NBA’s all-time three-point shooter.

“Steph got Game 7 Syndrome!! When everyone is anticipating a big moment he never meets it. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall to hear Doc’s pregame speech! Best win of the season for the 76ers. Who needs Simmons when you got Thybulle! Carry the hell on…”

In the opinion of Kendrick Perkins, Stephen Curry has a Game 7 Syndrome

At the post-game press conference, Joel Embiid and Matisse Thybulle spoke about Curry making the record. Both of them were adamant that the record won’t be allowed in their court. This is a reason why Thybulle made sure not to allow Curry to make a three-pointer during the whole game. That is exactly what happened.

In the tweet, Perkins appears to be unhappy with Curry’s performance, as in the game he managed to score 18 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and dish out five assists. In this case, fans expected Curry to break the record, but it didn’t happen that way and through this, many were disappointed, especially Perkins.
