It was a night to remember for Lakers fan as they have finally secured their first win as a new team. After going through a complete rebuild in the off season, the purple and gold couldn’t get a win. Ja Morant was a true warrior for the Grizzles in this game. Putting up 40 points and 10 assists, he was on point all game long. The only downside came at the end as Morant missed the game tying free throw. Steven Adams also had a big double double with 14 points and 16 rebounds. However, the rest of the team couldn’t get it going tonight.

For the Lakers, it was a classic Melo show; he racked up 28 points while shooting 75% from downtown. Anthony Davis came up big on both ends of the floor with 20 points and 4 blocks to his name. While LeBron had a quite night for the most part, he hit some big buckets when needed. He ended the game with 19 points, 6 assists and 2 blocks.
