The defending champions, the Golden State Warriors are in a bit of hot soup right now. Reports emerged that Draymond Green had punched his 23-year-old Jordan Poole in a scuffle during training. And at the same time, a veteran of the team is facing flak for defending the four-time champ for his actions.

There was massive news coming out from the Warriors’ training camp as were reports of a scuffle. Several reports suggest that there was a physical altercation between Green and Poole. Green even reportedly struck Poole, and both players were said to be pushing and shoving each other. And they had to be separated by their teammates. The reports also stated that the Warriors are thinking of taking action against Green.

At the same time, Warriors veteran and former Finals MVP Andre Iguodala seemed to come out and defended Green. He tweeted, And it’s family business with my bro @Money23Green too…”

The two were verbal with each other and they had to be pulled away by their teammates. Furthermore, the Warriors suspended Green for a game for his actions. Many experts claim that this is why Durant subsequently left the Warriors.

It will be interesting to see whether the Warriors take any action against Green, as they likely cannot afford another breakup of their team. Especially so when Poole is arguably on his way to becoming a superstar in his own right.
