Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan officially came out as a couple in public after months of speculation in the media. The duo stirred a lot of controversy with their newfound love, especially due to their past. With Larsa being Scottie Pippen‘s ex-wife and Marcus the son of legendary Michael Jordan, the two have garnered some publicity.

To clarify a lot of these rumors, the two recently released a new podcast ‘Separation Anxiety’ where the two spoke on various different topics. Discussing their beginnings and secrets, they didn’t know about one another until dating the two have spilled quite a lot. Discussing one such topic, Larsa fired a subtle warning shot.

Speaking to Marcus about her friends of the opposite gender. ‘The Real Housewives of Miami‘ star stated, “You know what is really interesting? I used to say my guy friends I love them all the time.” Although in the past tense, Marcus revealed that there was an explanation behind her doing so. When proposing that the tables could turn with Marcus doing the same, Larsa fired a subtle warning saying “Marcus, you better not say Hey Babe, or you will be dead.

Quite a warning, the two continued to discuss the topic further. Questioning her on relationships with the opposite gender, Marcus asked, “Can you be a Platonic friend with someone of the opposite gender?” to which Larsa replied, “I think we can“. This then led to Marcus calling out the double standards that existed when forming such “platonic relationships“.

Discussing the double standards Marcus replied, “I feel like, there is a double standard because for guys it’s a little more rare for you to be strictly platonic not like it does not happen but there is a double standard to a degree.

A fair note, guys in general are more easily susceptible to platonic relationships, but Larsa did make a valid point when stating, “You always think that if a guy is friends with a girl, he wants to be with her.” 

Is there more to this relationship than it seems?

While many have already dismissed this relationship as a fling, the couple is proving otherwise. The depth of their conversation and the ability to understand one another seems to make them quite compatible. ‘Separation Anxiety’ will be a common topic of discussion as the two shed a new light on the Pippen-Jordan name.
