The Milwaukee Bucks beat every odd to win the 2021 NBA Championships when nobody thought they would. Coming from 0-2 down, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. owned Chris Paul and men to claim their first title in 50 years.

After winning the title, Giannis hit the road in his car and went straight to have his personalized Chick-fil-A. Then, he even showed up in AEW Dynamite Event to show off his champion self from the wrestling ring. But the mother of all celebration is still awaiting when the Bucks will get their ring.

Does the Greek Freak have any extra expectations from the upcoming event?

Giannis Antetokounmpo wants it better than his brother

The 26-YO champion, upon winning his first title, had expressed in the on-court interview how much he needed a ring. Ever since Kostas Antetokounmpo had won his title in 2020, it was awkward for a much better player in Giannis to not have won it yet.

However, all of that changed on July 20th, 2021, when Giannis finally claimed a trophy along with the Finals MVP award. And yet, he was not equal with Kostas until he got that ring slid through one of his fingers.

Well, that day is right around the corner as the Bucks are scheduled to enjoy the ring ceremony on the opening night of the 2021-22 season. But before that, Giannis has some expectations as he recently revealed when he stated, “Let me get it very simple, I’m not competitive guys. I want my ring to be bigger than my brother’s. That’s what I said. When Kostas, my brother, showed me his ring, it was huge. It was like a Airpod case. So I said, at least, you guys should assure to give us a big ring, also.”

If this isn’t competitiveness, then what is?

Although the Bucks completed their preseason with a poor 1-4 show, almost all of their games were pretty close. Plus, it was great to see eight Bucks players scoring in double figures and helping their team win 130-110 against OKC with Giannis adding just 8 points. This proved their depth.

As for Giannis, the man has transformed his jump shot from last year. He is now utilising more turnaround fadeaway jumpers, between the leg dribbles, and fluidity in his game. As a result, his shooting looked impressive in the preseason and this warmup is surely going to help him in the regular season.
