Billionaire LeBron James Once Sported the Same Watch as Jay-Z and Leonardo DiCaprio Which Fetched $6 Million at an Auction

LeBron James recently joined the billionaire list after another monster year of earnings. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar became the first active NBA player to achieve this feat. While he is arguably one of the greatest players of this generation, James has built an excellent career outside the basketball courts.

The 37-year-old is a brilliant businessman and has even worked in movies. His philanthropic works are well documented. On top of all that, James is an avid watch collector. The four-time NBA champion had an assortment of watches, including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and Richard Mille.

LeBron James was one of the many celebrities present at the 2022 Super Bowl. As always, cameras followed every movement of the 18-time All-Star. Fans were quick to point out the watch on his wrist: the Patek Philippe Nautilus Tiffany-blue dial. One of the most hyped-about watches of all time, it has been worn by celebrities such as Jay-Z and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Even though the watch, also known as Patek Philippe X Tiffany Nautilus 5711, has a retail price of $52,635, it fetched $6 million at an auction. It is a collaboration between powerhouses Patek Philippe and Tiffany & Co which has significantly added to its appeal.

It is a special edition of one of the most hyped and coveted luxury watches ever. The watch has a turquoise blue dial, which is the only significant change from the original. Jay-Z started the hype around the watch and other stars such as DiCaprio and James have followed suit.

James has a huge collection of watches worth millions of dollars. The Los Angeles Lakers star has multiple expensive watches from various brands, such as Rolex and Richard Mille. The Nautilus is clearly the most coveted watch in his collection, and it has been worn by many celebrities over the years.

LeBron is certainly a fan of the turquoise blue dial, as he has multiple watches from different brands with that particular dial. Meanwhile, James has collaborated with Audemars Piguet to create the Royal Oak Offshore LeBron James limited edition. He is regularly seen sporting the Audemars Piguet watches.
