It was recently reported that with minimal effort, Jordan helped one of his international teammates and an NBA rival get significantly richer.

Michael Jordan reportedly gifted his Team USA jersey to Karl Malone after a game, autographing it and writing, “To Karl, good luck.” Surprisingly, the jersey fetched a staggering bid of $3,030,000, proving that Jordan’s gesture helped his former teammate earn get significantly richer. The Utah Jazz legend additionally earned a remarkable total of five million dollars by selling memorabilia associated with not only Jordan but also Larry Bird and Magic Johnson, The New York Post reported.
