Adding to their lack of form, the team’s star player, LaMelo Ball, sustained a serious career-altering injury at the end of the season. Amid rumors of Jordan also looking to sell the team, this recent report disappointed even loyal Hornets fans.

As the postseason reaches its final leg, the NBA world’s attention is turning to the 2023 NBA Draft. Loyal Hornets fans are also eagerly anticipating a fresh inclusion in their roster after the team won the second draft pick. Notably, the San Antonio Spurs won the first pick, and the hot prospect Victor Wembanyama could easily steal the spot. Then, Scoot Henderson and Brandon Miller come up as the next two probable prospects for the Hornets.
While Hornets fans leaned toward Henderson, a recent report revealed that Michael Jordan‘s team could opt for Miller.

In response to the report, the already upset fans took to the social media comments section with harsh opinions.
Interestingly, Henderson recently opened up about his relationship with the Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard. It should be noted that the Blazers won the third pick in the lottery. Moreover, a fan reacting to the report said, “If the Hornets do this they will regret it for the next decade.”

Several fans feel that the Hornets should pick Miller in order to bring in some versatility for the team as LaMelo Ball already holds his ground on offense.
Stupid decision. Lamelo is probably leaving them in the next 2-4 years might as well get scoot to be another franchise cornerstone + it’s not like they’re gonna be competing so they need to draft players for fit like miller
