Shaquille O’Neal and greatness go hand in hand. The former NBA champion has had one of the most successful careers in the NBA and has built a business empire worth over $400 million after retirement. Unsurprisingly, he is one of the most well-known faces in the world.

Interestingly, despite his superstar status, he is not the most famous contact on his co-host’s phone. On the latest episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq, co-host Nichelle Turner enquired about everyone’s most famous contacts on their phone.
To Shaq’s surprise, Turner has someone more famous than him on her phone. It is none other than eminent TV personality Oprah Winfrey. She said, “You know what Shaquille? I have someone who supplants you. Oprah, yeah.“
Although Winfrey has never made an appearance on Shaq’s famous podcast, she definitely has the star power eclipse him by being the most renowned contact on Nichelle’s phone.
Unlike Oprah Winfrey, Shaquille O’Neal has made an appearance on her podcast
Over the years, Oprah Winfrey has made a name for herself thanks to her inspiring talk shows. Former Los Angeles Lakers icon Shaquille O’Neal is among the various celebrities to have had a conversation with Winfrey.
Back in 2017, Shaq joined Oprah Winfrey on her famous podcast. O’Neal is a big admirer of the billionaire talk show host which is a big reason why he joined Winfrey’s podcast.
However, there is another reason. Shaq’s mother, Lucille O’Neal’s favorite lady is Oprah Winfrey and she would be very happy to see her son in Oprah’s show.

Shaq had said, “Oprah Winfrey is my mother’s favorite lady. When my mother watches this, she’s going to have the biggest smile ever. That’s what it’s all about. Any son that doesn’t try to make his mother smile, you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself.“
On her podcast, the former NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal talked about a host of topics including his controversies with Kobe Bryant and Penny Hardaway.
