However, Rihanna once even went on to troll Stephen Curry when the Cavaliers pulled a comeback vs the Warriors to win the championship.

Rihanna’s support for LeBron James in 2016 might have upset Stephen Curry

As LeBron James won his 3rd championship with the Cavaliers in 2016, Rihanna shared a series of posts on her Instagram to celebrate the win. She even went on to call LeBron ‘bae’.

This was not it. She even shared a picture of herself with the number 23 written on her stomach. It referred to LeBron James’ jersey number. Rihanna, however, went to the extent where she posted a picture of Stephen Curry after the Warriors lost the Finals. The post was captioned: “”Ballin bigger than Lebron” they said”.

This surely would not have gone down well with Stephen Curry, who didn’t respond to the dig. However, the Warriors bounced back and went on to win two back-to-back championships after the Cavs win in 2016.
