Better book it,” he said. Jimmy seemed very confident, as the Heat were able to hold the Los Angeles Lakers off, who are currently one of the favorites to win the NBA championship.

The Miami Heat endured a difficult start to the NBA season. Despite being the defending champions, the Heat suffered losses as the season began. During the off-season, the Heat lost Jae Crowder, who was a crucial part of their 2020 playoff run. But they signed Avery Bradley and drafted Precious Achiuwa in the 2020 draft.

The Heat, much like the Lakers, had an extremely short turnaround heading into the new NBA season. As a result, they were without significant players. Jimmy Butler was nursing an injury that kept him sidelined for a portion of the initial season. However, his return to the team did not last long, as he had to isolate himself in accordance with the NBA’s COVID-19 protocol.

Recently, Jimmy Butler became the first Miami Heat player to post consecutive triple-doubles over two games. But those triple-doubles came in losing efforts. Butler will hope that the Heat will be able to rally after their big win over the Lakers. Currently, they are below .500, and will have to have a lot of wins to secure a playoff spot this season.
