Boston Celtics Fans Turn Hostile Against “Public Enemy No. 1” Draymond Green as the Former All-Star Fails to Find His Best on the Court During Warriors vs Celtics

The Golden State Warriors take on the Boston Celtics in Game 4 of the NBA Finals in what could be the most important game for Stephen Curry and co. In case of a loss, the Celtics take a 3-1 lead into the series that can make life tough for the Warriors.
As the Warriors look to bounce back, they face a tough Celtics team. Boston has been good in defense as they restrict Curry’s men to 49 points in the first half.
Interestingly enough, the crowd seemed to not be in favor of Draymond Green. They were clearly against him and the Warriors as chants against the former All-Star were clearly audible.

Draymond Green booed as the Celtics take the lead at halftime
Draymond Green of the Warriors has had a disappointing game so far. He was scoreless for quite a long time and looked shaky on defense. Moreover, the crowd was quite hostile towards him. Clear chants of “F*** you Draymond” was audible as the TD Garden erupted in unison.
The commentary team referred to the 4-time All-Star as ‘Public Enemy No. 1’ in reference to the deafening chants against him.

Moreover, Jaylen Brown of the Celtics has held his ground against Draymond. Jaylen finished the first half of the match with 12 points, 1 assist, and 1 rebound. On the other hand, Green ended the first half with 0 points, 2 assists, and 3 rebounds.
Green is clearly looking off on his game. He remained scoreless for an entire half and he has not been the usual rock in the defense so far. Furthermore, Green is not at his playmaking best as he racked up just the 2 assists.
This sets up Kevon Looney perfectly. Looney played around 13 minutes in the first half of the match and ended the half with 2 points, 2 assists, and 9 rebounds.

Both the teams were good with their 3-pointers but the Celtics were clearly better. Both teams had seven 3-pointers at one point in time, however, Boston took almost 10 shots less than the Dubs.
A great block by Robert Williams III was the final talking point about the 2nd quarter of the match as the Celtics ended the half leading. The scoreline looked 54-49 in favor of the Celtics at the end of the first half.
