The Phoenix Suns ended their season’s campaign with a disappointing finish in the Conference semifinal. While Devin Booker and his men step into the offseason, the team’s front office looks to close in on a bankable deal ahead of the next season. Notably, the management eyes signing up for Washington Wizards’ Bradley Beal. Amid all this, recent news from the Suns’ locker room induced fans into an online debate.

After continued disappointment in the postseason games, the management took to a drastic call to fire their head coach, Monty Williams. A few days back, Monty Williams turned the NBA world’s attention to his side during his first press conference as the Pistons’ head coach. Williams revealed his wife’s unfortunate condition during the interaction. But now, a rumor about the former NBA Coach of the Year is taking the fraternity by storm.

According to Hoops Hype, Williams disliked coaching Suns stars Jae Crowder and Deandre Ayton during his stint as the Suns’ head coach. A Hoops Hype reporter adds that “He didn’t want Jae around. As far as Deandre Ayton, Monty didn’t want him either.” He further adds Williams’ intention to trade them for the Indiana Pacers’ Myles Turner.

Moreover, during game 3 of the semifinal series against the Denver Nuggets, fans noticed a visibly disappointed Ayton despite winning the game. Notably, the star even ignored Chris Paul’s handshake twice and exited the arena before the team opened for the press.
