Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal has been winning on and off the court. Recently, he has penned a mega-contract extension with Nike and was on the Posted Up with Chris Haynes show to talk about it.

Beal had first signed up with Nike’s Jordan Brand during the 2020/21 season after sporting Nike shoes and other apparel since the last eight seasons. The Jordan Brand continues its association with superstars in the NBA.

Bradley Beal talks about his deal with Nike:

Beal, a two-time NBA all-star reportedly earns around $2 million per year from endorsements according to Forbes. He announced the extension of the contract by releasing a new logo.

 “That is a huge deal for me, a huge deal for them to get it done. It is a great partnership. I take it with a lot of respect and also with a lot of intention to continue to produce on the floor because you represent a mega brand, you represent the guy [Michael Jordan]. “Bradley mentioned during the Posted Up with Chris Haynes podcast

Jordan and Beal’s new deal ties him to the brand for an undisclosed amount. Bradley Beal announced the deal with the release of a logo. The logo draws connections with the family of the player and his playing style. The outer black border forms a shield and big “B” which represents his family. The next layer is a smaller “B” for his first name.

A logo is a representation of you. It’s who you are, you want it to pop out at your customer or your fan but also has to be able to tell a story about who you are and what you represent.” Beal mentioned this during the podcast.

Michael Jordan approximately earns $130 million per year through sales only. The brand value of Jordan continues to increase by 17% per year and is one of the most influential brands in the world. The Jordan Brand continues to increase its value, and it is the best example of good marketing.
