Kyrie Irving may soon return to the court. According to recent reports, the Brooklyn Nets guard has almost completed the tasks assigned to him by the franchise. Following his latest controversy, Irving was suspended for a minimum of five games by the Nets. Since his suspension, Irving has had to stay on the sidelines for seven games so far. The new development was announced on November 16, 2022.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Kyrie Irving has completed most of the tasks and will soon be done with them. Therefore, it is quite possible that the?Nets star will join his teammates for the game on Sunday. The Nets will be facing the Memphis Grizzlies on November 20 at the Barclays Center. Before that, the Nets play against the Portland Trail Blazers on November 17. This will be the eighth game of the season that Irving will miss due to his suspension.

“Kyrie is continuing his journey of dialogue and education. He has been grappling with the full weight of the impact of his voice and actions, particularly in the Jewish community,”?NBPA executive director Tamika Tremaglio?told ESPN.

Furthermore, she informed?that Kyrie Irving did not believe in anti-semitism and is working on improving his knowledge about the matter.

Since the Brooklyn Nets announced Kyrie Irving’s suspension, a division was created in the NBA world. While many condemned Irving’s comments and actions, others came forth in support of the seven-time All-Star. Whereas, controversial figure Kanye West and former Chicago Bulls star Jay Williams showed their support for the Nets guard.
