The Wire and John Wick fame actor Lance Reddick passed away last month leaving thousands around the world in mourning. According to reports, Reddick passed peacefully in his Los Angeles home aged 60. His sudden demise shocked the entertainment industry, especially considering that he was on tour promoting the latest installment of the John Wick series. About a month after Reddick’s unfortunate demise, NBA legend and film aficionado Charles Barkley chimed in.
On the latest episode of The Steam Room podcast with ‘Inside the NBA’ fame Ernie Johnson, Barkley shed some light on Reddick’s passing away while also giving his honest thoughts.

Heartbroken Charles Barkley gives his flowers to popular actor
Lance Reddick played the role of Charon in all four installments of the action thriller movie series. One of his many fans happens to be 1994 NBA MVP Charles Barkley. While talking on The Steam Room podcast, Barkley talked about some of Reddick’s finest works while also addressing his demise.
Barkley said, “You’ll know him from The Wire, you’ll know him from the John Wick movies. I was a huge fan and man he passed away at 50 something, like in the last month. I just want to say, man, I felt the same way about him the same way I felt about Michael K Williams. When I heard the news, it broke my heart. “
Across his brilliant 25-year-old acting career, Reddick appeared in more than a dozen film and TV shows. He is also set to appear in a John Wick spinoff featuring popular actress Ana De Armas, who was involved in a huge scandal recently. Her controversy urged multiple well-known voices including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to speak out.
Reddick’s final John Wick film enthralls audiences around the world
Keanu Reeves returned to the big screens with John Wick 4. The film fared well crossing the $300 million mark worldwide in no time. The Chad Stahelski-directed film performed well domestically as well in North America, earning around $147 million.

The fourth installment of the popular movie series earned around $159 million internationally taking the total to over $300 million.
