Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has been in the public eye for so long that there are numerous memorable stories about The King. The 38-year-old is a four-time NBA champion and has, in a sense, completed basketball and seems pretty content with his career. However, that wasn’t the case over a decade ago when James was still vying for his first NBA championship. Miami Heat legend and former teammate, Dwyane Wade recently revealed a “crazy” incident about King James after the Heat’s 2011 Finals loss that has left the NBA world in denial.
The 2011 Finals loss did a number on LeBron James. He has previously admitted to how that series changed something in him forever. Although Wade’s story might be shocking, but it is believable considering how dismayed LeBron was after the loss.

Wade and James went on to make history during their time with the Miami Heat. Winning two championships together, the two were considered one of the best duos in the league. However, before their first title together in 2012, they went through a tough time after a disappointing result in the 2011 Finals.
Led by the German legend Dirk Nowitzki, the Dallas Mavericks were a dominant force in 2011 and weren’t an easy nut to crack. Averaging more than 20 points each, Wade and the King took a 2-1 series lead initially. However, the fadeaway master Nowitzki took off to win three games in a row, giving the deadly duo a tough loss and the Mavericks their first title in franchise history.
