Latest on the Kyrie Irving trade rumors
Earlier in September, it was reported amidst the Ben Simmons trade saga that Kyrie Irving could be a potential part of a package the Nets are preparing to trade for Simmons. However, sources said it was Kevin Durant who stopped the Nets’ front office from including Kyrie Irving in that package. Consequently, this prevented a deal from even being discussed.

For the Nets, this is a good sign for keeping the trio (including James Harden) together in the franchise.
