However, ‘Uncle Drew’ has reportedly signed a contract with the Dallas Mavericks. Similarly, Wojnarowski broke another crucial update from the Nets’ camp regarding KD.

After the much-talked-about Kyrie Irving trade, senior NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski took to his Twitter for a major KD update. The tweet read, “In aftermath of Kyrie Irving trade, the Brooklyn Nets and Kevin Durant are having ongoing conversations on the direction of the franchise…” Durant is arguably one of the key assets of the Nets’ franchise, and securing him would likely be the top priority.

The tweet further read, “…but organization has thus far told inquiring teams that they’re not planning to trade him before Thursday’s deadline, sources tell ESPN.”

Moreover, Durant hasn’t played a single game after his injury vs the Miami Heat in January. Fans speculated that KD could return to the hardwood ahead of the All-Star game. Notably, the ‘Slim Reaper’ hasn’t officially sent out any statement regarding the Kyrie Irving trade saga. 

Fans beg 4x NBA champion to save KD

In the context of the ongoing trade saga, Bleacher Report shared a picture of KD and Irving on Twitter with a tweet, “Describe the KD-Kyrie era in one word.” Notably, Warriors star Andre Iguodala replied to the tweet with a brutal take, “Infiltrated.” 

Following his tweet, fans swarmed the comments and insisted on saving Durant from misery and get him traded back to the Dubnation. Notably, one user said, “Call kd up rn and tell him to come back home.”
