Projected #1 pick for the NBA 2023 draft, Victor Wembanyama already had everyone floored with his athleticism and being the face of what some would consider a generational talent. But this time, the NBA world has been floored by another aspect of his: his incredible body transformation. The 7’4″ star’s physique has impressed basketball fans.
In his latest photo, Victor Wembanyama was seen smiling at ripped abs in his toned and sculpted body.

Wemby’s body is in full display
One fan wrote, “Gotta eat 8k calories a day to bulk up“. Others also chimed in stating that he could end up looking like Giannis Antetokounmpo is the years to come.

Last year, Yahoo! Sports revealed that Tim Martin was Wemby’s trainer. Though on Zoom, “Martin would show him different drills and give him feedback whether that was correcting his ball placement, telling him to keep his chest down or add arc to his shot“.
Martin had praised him for his ability to retain information. Martin said that Wembanyama was always looking to challenge himself with different workouts. He put his name on the map in early October, during the two exhibition games in Henderson, Nevada.
The media noted, “He averaged 36.5 points and 4.5 blocks in a pair of games against tough competition and former pros on the G League Ignite team.”
The physique of Victor Wembanyama
Due to his sheer height, his dunks seem so graceful and utterly effortless. His wingspan is two parts confusing and two parts breathtaking.
His entry into the NBA has been much anticipated. According to the NBA Draft room, “With a height of 7-2+, a weight of (at least) 209lbs and a 7-8 wingspan Victor is a massively long and tall human being. He’s not the tallest player we’ve ever evaluated but he’s far and away the most talented prospect at his size, by a mile.”
Victor Wembanyama is not necessarily a bulky player but has played at such an elite standard. He is known to move his feet quickly, especially for a player with that frame.
