Shaquille O’Neal has endorsed a controversial statement comparing Nets superstar Kevin Durant with Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry. As Kevin Durant trade rumors set the NBA community ablaze, Fox Sports analyst Emmanuel Acho stated that the 33-year-old superstar is looking “real Halle Berry-ish” in a segment of FS1’s Speak for Yourself. Afterward, Shaq posted a clip of the segment on his Instagram stories.

The NBA world is simmering in anticipation of a blockbuster trade. Kevin Durant has recently requested a trade out of Brooklyn. In fact, the two-time NBA champion’s availability in the market could upend the status quo of the NBA.

Durant is arguably one of the greatest scorers of all time. In fact, there’s no denying his supreme effectiveness on the court. In other words, landing KD on their roster would immediately make any playoff team legitimate title contenders.

In a recent episode of FS1’s Speak for Yourself, former NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho compared Kevin Durant with Hollywood actress Halle Berry. In fact, the 31-year-old analyst compared being in the same team with KD to being in a relationship with Halle Berry.

“Halle Berry-incredibly talented,” said Acho. “But if you get in a relationship with Halle Berry, it’s probably not gonna work out very long.”

In fact, the former New York Giant touted the theory that a partnership with Kevin Durant is destined to fail. To support his argument, he gave the example of KD’s failed stints at OKC, Golden State, and Brooklyn. In other words, Durant’s partnerships with other stars do not last long, like Halle Berry’s relationships with different partners.

Meanwhile, Shaquille O’Neal shared a clip of Acho’s argument in his stories. Incidentally, Shaq has publicly revealed to have a thing for Halle Berry on multiple occasions.

However, he recently declared that he’s moving on from his infatuation. Because the 55-year-old actress is currently in a committed relationship with singer-songwriter Van Hunt.
