With a streak of bad performances in the league, a playoff spot for the Los Angeles Lakers is becoming tough. The trade deadline is also around the corner and the Lakers fans are expecting some big moves. But due to the lack of valuable assets, a big-money trade seems to be out of the picture.

The Lakers looking to reinforce

The trade deadline is just a few days away, and teams are making moves. Los Angeles has turned to Kent Bazemore in order to fill the void in their roster. Bazemore was out of the Lakers lineup despite being a starter at the beginning of the season. LeBron James is still out of the mix with an injury and the team might look to make moves during the trade deadline.

According to reports, Los Angeles are looking to offload Kent Bazemore and have Paul Millsap of the Brooklyn Nets on their minds.

As reported by Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, “The Lakers are searching to find Kent Bazemore a new home after he opened the season as a starter. And while it’s believed Paul Millsap would prefer to land in Chicago, having a connection to Bulls lead executive Arturas Karnisovas from their shared Denver days Los Angeles has been mentioned as a suitor for Millsap should he reach the buyout market.”

Although the Lakers might want to take Paul Millsap, the reports seem to suggest his preferred destination to be Chicago.
