The NBA teams are in the preparation stage for the next season. Every team wants to build a competitive side and challenge for a better finish next season. They are working on their teams and they know they need to improve to challenge for the play-in, playoffs, and the NBA championship. As such, the Memphis Grizzlies have started their conquest to get better. On the road to getting better, their first and foremost move is to keep the sensation who took the league by storm last season, Ja Morant.
Grizzlies are a young side. In the 2020-21 season, they became the youngest side to qualify for the playoffs since the Oklahoma City in 2010-11 season. Last season, their average went down even more. From 24.2 to 23.9. And amazingly, their winning percentage increased from .528 to .683. So it was natural from their perspective that they would secure their young squad and continue the good work. Especially when they have one of the most exciting youngsters in the NBA within their roster.

Ja Morant was certainly one of the top performers of the last season. They crashed out of the playoffs against the Warriors, but the Warriors did not have it easy. Ja Morant and his young side made it through for the title winning side. They showed passion, character, talent, and capability to shock any opponent. Moreover, this is just a sign of things to come and how we can expect tremendous things from the team.
