Sports analyst Kevin Wildes of FS1’s First Things First reprimanded Jayson Tatum for having the worst plus-minus in NBA finals history after a blowout loss against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in game 2 of the NBA finals. Wildes heavily criticized Tatum despite picking Celtics as the favorites to win the whole thing.

Curry led the Warriors to a brilliant 19-point victory over the Boston Celtics at Chase Center on Sunday night to level the series 1-1. The eldest splash brother absolutely went off against from the 3-point line to score 29 points, 4 assists, and 6 rebounds, shooting 9-for-21 from the field and 5-of-12 from deep.

Wildes criticizes Jayson Tatum for acting like James Harden

Kevin Wildes made a point of holding Jayson Tatum accountable after Sunday night’s disappointing loss. As a matter of fact, the Celtics superstar served as a perfect foil for the heroic effort Steph Curry displayed on the court. Moreover, Wildes had a serious point of contention with people making excuses for Tatum’s poor performance.

Wildes also criticized Tatum for turning over the ball at crucial moments and trying to flop for foul calls. The Celtics small forward scored 28 points, 3 dimes, and 6 boards, shooting 8-for-19 from the field and 6-for-9 from the 3-point-line.

Wright and Broussard defend Tatum

Meanwhile, Nick Wright and Chris Broussard thought Wildes’ position on Tatum was a little harsh. They decided to be more lenient on the superstar in his first-ever NBA finals series. Every superstar tends to have one or two bad days at the office.

However, they were not so lenient on the rest of the roster. The Celtics’ rotation had only 45-points out of the total 88 scored by the team. Al Horford went from scoring 26-points in game 1 to scoring only 2-points.
