As Spears puts it, she tapped on the 19-year-old’s shoulder in an attempt to interact with him. And soon his security guard backhanded her. However, Wembanyama’s version goes Spears was grabbing him from behind and he saw his security guard trying to keep her away.

Meanwhile, a person who claims to have witnessed the incident from the scene says Wemby’s security backhanded the singer and her sunglasses fell off. Perhaps it is this alleged physical altercation from Wemby’s entourage that has now ignited Spears’ supporters.

A Britney Spears fan account named ‘Britney Stan’ has tweeted a clipping from Wembanyama’s summer league debut against the Hornets. In the video, the Frenchman could be seen guarded by three opponents. Interestingly, one opponent stood at Wemby’s rear side, stopping him from turning around. Unable to break the deadlock, Wemby passed the ball to a teammate, and fell down.

The fan account wrote,?“YOU GUYS,”?and added three crying emojis. This mockery of a tweet has piqued the attention of many. Most of them seem to show no mercy towards the first pick.
