Charles Barkley Calls Out $400 Million Rich Shaquille O’Neal for Not Paying His $10,000 Dues: “No, Shaq’s Never Paid Me”

Around two weeks ago, Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley left everyone in splits with a hilarious and costly wager. During TNT’s ‘Inside the NBA’ show, Shaq challenged Barkley to spell a word. The moment inspired a new segment on their show: the spelling bee competition. Chuck, who managed to pull off Shaq’s challenge, has still not got what he was promised.

Charles Barkley had described a double-header night to be “spectacular“. The Big Diesel immediately ordered him to spell the word. Where others on the panel were sure that Chuck could spell it, Shaq was confident that he couldn’t. So much so that he placed a $10,000 bet on it.

The NBA world laughed with Barkley, who was also chuckling in between letters. Notably, Barkley had to write the letters down to make sure the spelling was correct.

Barkley later announced that he still had to get his due from the big man, saying: “Shaq’s never paid me”. The crew then took part in a spelling bee segment on the show with Barkley, Shaq, and Kenny Smith taking turns spelling various words.

Shaquille O’Neal has an envious portfolio. He is a businessman and an investor and appears regularly on podcasts and shows. His net worth is roughly $400 million. After he retired from professional basketball, his endorsements, real estate, and merchandise are his primary sources of income.

The duo is famous for roasting each other and making fun of each other. One time, Barkley bet Shaq a steak dinner if the Pelicans had a better record than the Lakers.
