NBA fans often refer to LeBron James as the best player in the NBA. The Los Angeles Lakers talisman is one of the most popular basketball players ever and is a cultural icon. Basketball fans generally include LeBron in debates surrounding the ‘greatest player of all time’ title. They compare the 36-year-old power forward to NBA legends like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

Recently, NBA great Charles Barkley expressed his thoughts on LeBron James on the ‘Dan Patrick’ show. Barkley compared LeBron to Jordan and Kobe while also talking about Lakers star Anthony Davis and Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Barkley said, “I might make some mistakes. I might miss some shots, but yo man, you give me maximum effort every night. That’s all I can ask for as a fan. But Anthony to me he like and this is it when we’re talking about always comparing guys. I say as much as I love LeBron, I love LeBron. He’s amazing. But to me he don’t, he didn’t have, listen Michael and Kobe they’ll kill you.”

Barkley added saying, “Those two got like, and it’s just a mindset. And Giannis he is out there, like he’s more close to Michael and Kobe and Anthony is more closer to LeBron. LeBron’s a great, great player and he’s a really, really nice guy. I don’t think anybody ever said Michael and Kobe were nice guys because they don’t care about that. Hey, listen and that’s not a knock. Everybody don’t have that killer killer-killer-killer instinct.

LeBron has won four NBA championships in his 19-year NBA career. He joined the Lakers in 2018 and led the franchise to their 2020 NBA championship alongside Anthony Davis. LeBron also won the Finals MVP award for his performance in the Finals.
