A 5-foot-2 construction worker got into an argument with Charles Barkley, which turned ugly. Instead of taking shots at 6-foot-6 Barkley, Lugo hurled a cup full of ice at Barkley, which made him lose his mind.

Initially, Barkley ignored the man and tried to keep it cool. But Lugo’s actions made Barkley angry, to which he acted with a lot of anger. Although a police officer was present in the bar, Barkley didn’t hold back. He wrestled Lugo out of the police officer’s hand, picked him up, and threw him through a glass window.

“For all I care, you can lay there and die,” mentioned Barkley while being pulled away by the police officer, according to South Florida Sun Sentinel. Barkley was obviously very drunk and was not in his senses. He took full responsibility for his actions.

“I’m going to defend myself and whoever I’m with at all times. I made that clear in my years in the NBA. I will never back down from the public. They are going to respect me, or I’m going to defend myself.” Barkley made his intentions very clear before an exhibition game between the Houston Rockets and Orlando Magic.
