The Golden State Warriors fanbase and Charles Barkley share a relationship of mutual hatred. Barkley has been vocal about his opinions of Warriors fans. Although Chuck is a fan of the splash brothers, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry, his love for Dub Nation is non-existent. The Golden State Warriors played in Oakland for 47 years. They were a team that resided in the Bay Area. In the 2019-20 season, the Golden State Warriors shifted back to their roots in San Francisco.

Charles Barkley believes that the fans from Oakland really make the fanbase. He is not a promoter of the new fans that have arrived with the shift from Oracle Arena to Chase Center. Charles Barkley was covering the NBA Finals and the Western Conference Finals that featured the Warriors last season. He got into several feuds with Warriors fans that stood behind him.

Recently, Charles Barkley took part in a celebrity golf tournament. The American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament is one that occurs every post-season. In the last edition of this tournament, Barkley took the 76th spot out of a possible 87. According to Caesars Sportsbook, odds are on Barkley to finish in the top 70 of the 87. He plans to beat his best score of 76 in this year’s tournament.

During the course of the tournament, Warrior Stephen Curry and Charles Barkley took jabs at each other. Even though the banter was light-hearted, Barkley made sure he took the opportunity to diss Curry and the Warriors fandom.

Charles Barkley claps back at Stephen Curry’s Warriors

Charles Barkley has been enjoying his time on the golf course. He got some good shots in and aimed to finish the day on a strong note. When asked how the atmosphere was, he took the opportunity to clap back at Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors!

Barkley said,?”The fans, the people at Lake Tahoe are tremendous. I love seeing all the celebrities. The fans are fantastic. You know, like I say, I give a nod to the Warriors’ fans because they just suck. Other than that, it’s great.”?

This was in response to all the feuds during the play-offs and Stephen Curry re-igniting the sparks in an interview at the celebrity golf tournament.

Curry launched the first of the trading blows between the two NBA greats. When a reporter inquired about his thoughts on Barkley’s top 70 odds, he seized the chance to poke at Chuck.

Stephen Curry said,?“Hell no! Clip that, send it to him, let him play it on every TV box; there’s no way he’s doing it, so as much faith as Chuck has had in the Warriors and jump shooting teams winning championships, that’s the amount of faith I have in him you know hitting the top 70.”

It appears that Barkley really hates the Warriors fans. The Warriors fans also do not hold back and keep pestering the Philadelphia 76ers legend.

Fans showed Barkley the same hate that he has towards them. During the Golden State Warriors/Dallas Mavericks series, a fan threw a t-shirt at the Hall of Famer.

Warriors fans paraded outside Chase Centre to throw trash in a trash can with Chuck’s photograph on it. The fans called it the ‘Chuck it’. Barkley joined the banter by telling Warriors fans that they need to clean their city of its filth.
