And it was reported that Barkley, Jordan, and Tiger?s friendship fell apart after this as well. But there were also perceptions that some of Woods? high profile friends like Barkley had a bad influence on him. But he had flat out denied such claims.?

Michael Jordan and Barkley?s friendship with Tiger Woods

It wasn?t the first time some of the elite athletes from different sports had a close friendship. Michael and Woods are considered one of the ?GOATs? of their respective field. And Barkley was an NBA Hall of Famer.

Tiger?s friendship with Jordan began in the 90s when he was at the beginning of his golfing career. And they would have had some legendary games on the golf field. It is no secret Jordan?s competitiveness brings out the best in him and he makes crazy bets on the ground.?

While Barkley didn?t speak with Woods again, Jordan kind of re-established his friendship a few years later. But it still wasn?t the same as before 2009. And after Jordan?s statement about Tiger?s private life in 2016, he hasn?t called Jordan as per reports.?

Barkley also said that he didn?t have any idea what happened. And said that Woods had just stopped talking to them after the accident in 2009. He said that Woods? wife didn?t want him around any of his friends. He said that he would?ve understood him trying to get back with his wife but said that he would?ve liked to hear it from him.?

But Woods eventually lost his wife who has full-time custody of their children.
