The NBA is going through some serious troubles with the health and safety protocols. Many games are being postponed and teams have also suffered along the way. This has brought up the trend of 10-day contracts with NBA veterans getting a chance to lace up once again. Likewise, Miami Heat signed one of their former players. Chris Bosh hints at return with Dwyane Wade and LeBron James?

With their current situation with the league’s protocols, the Heat made their move to sign Mario Chalmers. The guard was with the Heat when the ‘Big 3’ of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh ran the show. Chalmers ran the offense and is a reliable scorer as well. With his return, Bosh asked him to put in a word for the entire trio and said he is still in shape.

He said: “Tell them we can bring back the ol pick and roll! Let’s get the band back together! I’m in shape.”

While a return of Wade and Bosh could happen, LeBron is under contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. However, it sure brought back the time those three dominated the league together. The Heat was the best team in the NBA and the ‘Big 3’ even won three titles together. While the Heat is yet to win a title since LeBron, they are still a top team.

With Jimmy Butler as the spearhead, the Heat culture is still very much alive. They had their best year in 2020 when they made the finals and lost to the King and the Lakers. Since then, Butler has made it his mission to get them back to the top, and he is delivering by playing at an MVP level. However, injuries to other star players have slowed this team down for the time being.
