The GOAT conversation is a never-ending one. Especially with LeBron James not playing in the playoffs this year, many people have anointed Michael Jordan as the GOAT. And one of them is Comedian-Actor Aries Spears who says it wasn’t even a debate to start with.
Aries was on the Gilbert Arenas show and he was asked about the GOAT conversation. He says, “Everybody that know me and follow my Instagram… I’m a Jordan fanatic. Uh, and this whole LeBron-Jordan thing to me, it was never really a debate.” He says he entertained the conversation but after the Lakers debacle this season, it’s finally over.

Aries Spears says Michael Jordan is the GOAT over LeBron James
He adds, ” I respect the man’s game, he’s nice despite the many things I’ve said in poking fun, I respect him. You cant not respect him. The man is one of the best, but he ain’t Jordan. Jordan’s the GOAT man, end of conversation. This season right here, we can finally put a pin to that garbage.”

When Arenas bought up Jordan’s time with the Wizards, he defended him by saying that Jordan, even at such an advanced age, used to put the numbers of an average player. He also adds that Jordan gave the best players in the world the business.
He also says that there are not many GOATs, but just one. And he is sick and tired of people saying there are multiple. He is also tired of people not understanding what the GOAT means. Spears adds that the GOAT should have everything (Rings, Stats, Impact, Pop Culture, Global fame, and others) and not just one or two. He adds that other great players may have had a few, but they would be lacking in some areas. But Jordan had everything, and that is the reason he is his GOAT over LeBron.
