You won’t see LeBron James in the NBA Finals. But he is in the center stage of most discussions in NBA circles. After Denver eliminated the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron hinted at contemplating retirement, and his retirement rumors subsequently became the talk of the town. Since many don’t see James ‘hanging them up,’ they are now busy discussing James’ trade rumors. As a potential reunion of Kyrie Irving and LBJ have been doing rounds in the NBA world, ‘Bron to Dallas’ has become the next thing for many hoops buffs. Shannon Sharpe mocks Dallas while discussing LeBron James’ trade rumors

In a recent episode of?Undisputed,?hosts, Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless dissected the prospects of LeBron James joining Kyrie Irving in the Dallas Mavericks. Sharpe quickly pointed out that he does not think the James clan moved from Cleveland, Ohio, to LA, to move to Dallas during the last phase of LeBron’s career. Skip Bayless nodded and pointed out that LBJ’s son Bronny has kick-started his college career in Los Angeles. Sharpe added that he thinks the 19x-NBA All-Star likes LA. Bayless asked, “who wouldn’t?”

The NFL veteran then threw a jibe at Dallas. To restate his claim that James won’t move to Dallas, he called the city a?“hot muggy Dallas.” Bayless, however, did not have this big a contempt for Dallas.?“It’s not that muggy,”?Bayless said.?“Compared to LA, it’s hell,” Shannon Sharpe said in response. Then, Bayless couldn’t help but agree that Dallas was hell when compared to LA. Bayless also pointed out that he would choose LA over Dallas on any given day. Shannon Sharpe further dismantled the claim by saying that Kyrie Irving does not call the shots in Dallas.

According to Sharpe, Irving can’t say to his franchise to go get the player he wants to team up with. Bayless dismantled Irving’s role in the entire trade saga, while it has widely been rumored that he asked Dallas to bring in James. To further dismantle Dallas, Bayless pointed out the myriad lucrative avenues that LA can offer James. He stressed that ventures like show business and TV business that can multiply James’ fortune are all in Los Angeles. Hence, for Sharpe, LeBron leaving a city like LA for a “hot muggy Dallas” is too far-fetched a dream.
