Comedian Rickey Smiley ended up losing his son Brandon Smiley, who passed away at the age of 32. Fans and friends offered condolences when Rickey announced his son’s death via an Instagram post. The Lakers legend and his wife, too, sent out their condolences during this challenging time for the Smiley family.

Rickey Smiley, who starred on ‘The Rickey Smiley Show’ has been devastated since the loss of his son. Though Smiley did not reveal the details of how his son died, it is understandable, given the circumstances.

Magic Johnson sends his condolences on behalf of his family

The 54-year-old actor and comedian was a father of five, and Brandon was his eldest son. Also, this was not the first time the Smiley family was struck with tragedy. In 2020, Rickey Smiley’s daughter was a victim of gun violence but was lucky enough to survive that incident.

Smiley’s close friend Magic Johnson went on to his official Twitter account to send out his respects and condolences on behalf of his wife and family.
