Following the Charlotte Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball‘s comment on Netflix’s latest update, fans expressed their opinions. Evidently, NBA Twitter was clearly unhappy with his comments.

According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, more than 100 million Netflix viewers consume the popular streaming site’s content on borrowed or shared passwords. Netflix Inc. considered password sharing as its major problem in 2019. Recently, the company announced that it decided to put an end to password sharing in 2023. Notably, Netflix’s Co-CEO Ted Sarandos earlier said, “I don’t think consumers are going to love it right out of the gate“. However, the streaming giant had once tweeted, “Love is sharing a password”.

The rising star of Michael Jordan’s Hornets had an impressive start to his career. He came into the side as the third overall pick in the 2020 draft and won the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2021 and an All-Star in 2022.
