Justin Timberlake seemingly looked taller than Shaquille O’Neal. That sounds absurd, but Timberlake made it happen. The world was entertained as Shaq went to roast him in his latest podcast. The four-time NBA champion said he had a superstar that had to be featured. Both Nischelle Turner and Spice Adams were curious. Shaq went on to introduce his guest with a serious deadpan face. “Ladies and gentlemen, would you say hi to Justin Timberlake?”

A look-a-like of Timberlake came in, but O’Neal made him sit on his knees so that he is visible to the co-hosts and the fans. It could be a repeat of what happened during the viral episode of the Jay Leno Show. Shaquille O’Neal wanted to re-affirm their height difference.

What happened between Justin Timberlake and Shaquille O’Neal?

In the late-night show with Jay Leno, the world got a trio treat with Justin Timberlake, Kevin Hart, and Shaquille O’Neal . With Shaq’s entry, his gigantic physique made others look tiny. A 5’2″ Kevin Hart has been mercilessly trolled by other basketball players as well for his height. But even a 6’1″ Justin Timberlake couldn’t shake off the glaring difference between him and the Big Diesel.

The iconic moment of O’Neal lifting and flipping Kevin Hart became cemented for posterity. Shaq shook hands with Timberlake and sat sandwiched between the two.

But Timberlake had to make up for the deficit. He quickly sat on top of the couch, to seemingly make himself taller than O’Neal. The gesture was met with roaring laughter. Timberlake explained his motives in doing so. “You have to understand. I am 6’1″. I am not short“, the singer said.

A few years ago, there was a Google glitch that put Shaq as the fifth member of Timberlakes’ boy band, NSYNC. Timberlake responded to it and tweeted a poster of NSHAQ. Shaq commented on the post that they need only turn to him for a “handsome baritone.” The Internet went into a meltdown at this association.

It is these kinds of banter and light camaraderie between celebrities that fully entertain the world. And fortunately, Shaq doesn’t have a dearth in that department.
