The Golden State Warriors might not be doing justice to the tag of ‘Defending Champions’, considering their performances this season. After a 5-game win streak without main star Stephen Curry, the Warriors are now on a 3-game losing streak on the road. However, a game-winning performance from a young center who was a part of the Warriors before the trade deadline in February has caught the attention of the NBA world.

The 21-year-old star continues to shine with his new team ever since his departure from the Warriors. Fans blamed the organization as they believe the Warriors got rid of an important asset who could have been very useful at this point of the season.

Road games seem to be a new fear for the Dub Nation. The Warriors have the third-worst record in road games this season with just 7 wins and 29 losses. Moreover, they are currently on a 10-game losing streak away from home. In contrast, the Warriors have an impeccable winning record of 29-7 in home games. This has helped them stay in contention for the Playoffs.

At this crucial point of the season, the Warriors continue to lose games as they have fallen to the 7th seed from the 5th seed. Further, the absence of forward Andrew Wiggins seems to be costing the Warriors on the defensive end. However, fans’ eyes are all on the 7’0 center who was traded to the Detroit Pistons right before the trade deadline.
