The greatest of all-time debate seems like a never-ending topic. Even though now and then we get a new name across, mostly it’s down to these two. Michael Jordan and LeBron James. With LeBron still playing, every day we get to see him prove his case for the GOAT. Simultaneously, Jordan has many supporters for his GOAT claim. But an NBA legend has declared LeBron as the GOAT, even though he won against him in the Finals.
Jason Kidd is an NBA legend who played for 20 seasons with the NBA. He was one of the greatest point guards of this generation and he went to the Finals three times. Moreover, he won against LeBron James with the Dallas Mavericks in the 2011 NBA Finals. He is also a head coach and is currently at the top job with the Dallas Mavericks. His last gig was the assistant coaching job at the Los Angeles Lakers.

Jason Kidd declares LeBron James is the GOAT over Michael Jordan
Kidd has said many times that he believes that LeBron is the GOAT. He recently was asked who he thinks is the GOAT between LeBron and Jordan. Kidd said, “I think LeBron will go down as the greatest to do it. When you look at his numbers , what he’s done on and off the floor, no one’s done that. You got to put the whole package together. He’s the greatest of all time.”

Kidd has always been a triple-double threat and LeBron has been the same. But the way LeBron has elevated his game year after year is phenomenal. In his 19th year, LeBron James was second in scoring and in his 17th year, LeBron led the league in assists. He can take any role which his team needs and he delivers on a nightly basis. And when it’s time to take over, he does that phenomenally.
