When it comes to Hollywood, award shows are always a big spectacle. Movie stars come together for a night of fun and celebrating success. Notably, the Oscars is arguably the biggest award show for Hollywood. For the most part, it makes for funny and happy moments. However, this time around, Will Smith took an aggressive approach as he punched Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife. Likewise, NBA players saw this and couldn’t believe their eyes.
Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith were the talk of the news at one time. Their marriage had seen some major revelations, and this did not spark a good limelight. However, despite all the drama, the couple has stayed together and even attend this years Oscar’s side by side. At this time, comedian Chris Rock took a dig at Smith’s wife for her hair loss. This did not sit well with Will Smith, as he had an angry moment.

NBA Players react to bizarre Oscars moment
During the Oscars, Chris Rock was up on stage, ready to present an award. However, being a comedian, he couldn’t help but flare his comedic side. He took the chance to joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s alopecia. While he said he looks forward to watching her new movie, Smith did not appreciate the joke. He went up on stage and jokingly punched Rock. While it seemed like a playful moment, Smith’s mood changed when he got back to his seat.
He yelled at Rock saying: “Keep my wife’s name out of your f**king mouth.”

While Smith got his moments at the Oscars this year, the night is far from over for him. Smith has earned his third nomination for best actor at the Oscars this year for his role in ‘King Richard’. While he has never won the award before, Smith has had three nominations in the category. The previous two coming from ‘Ali’ and ‘The Pursuit Of Happiness’. As one of the most decorated actors of this generation, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air will be looking to get his hands on the trophy for the best actor.
