It’s almost every day that we find ourselves surrounded by rumors and speculations surrounding NBA players. Being a famous athlete comes with its negatives, with an invasion of privacy being the most common. At the end of last year, there was speculation that Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan were dating. Although not official at the time, their announcement in January of this year made it so and it came with a lot of criticism.

The most jarring of them all was the age difference between them, as Larsa is 16 years Marcus’ senior. While the Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan names might be synonymous with the Chicago Bulls, this new duo has more to do with their involvement off the court. To address these issues, the two released a podcast called Separation Anxiety discussing many different subjects as to their relationship.

Larsa and Marcus speak about parenting

In the very first episode of their podcast titled It’s getting personal, the two discussed various topics of interests from their relationship. From the one who made the first move to their dates and love interests, the two go in depth about their relationship. One such topic of interest was how the two are managing to balance their past lives.

Larsa being a mother to three kids makes this dynamic pretty interesting as Marcus does not have any prior experience in parenting. The two go onto discuss the difference between male and female experiences, especially when dating a person with children. Marcus added that the male experience could be seen as easier since the female would always need to provide motherly care.

Speaking about his own experience as a male dating a female with children, Marcus had this to say: “Most men are sitting back and going with the flow most often.” While Larsa did accept the assessment given by him, Marcus reiterated, “At least, that is my role.”

Separation Anxiety is indeed doing the job of clearing the air on many several aspects of Larsa and Marcus’ relationship. A question that extends from their age difference is – did they know each other for long before they started dating?

Larsa clears the air

With their relationship coming into a new light there have been a lot of questions. One of the most common is – did the two know each other prior to their relationship? It could be the case since Scottie and Michael were teammates that Larsa and Marcus could have crossed paths earlier.

However, addressing this topic on the podcast, Larsa went on to add, “I think a lot of people thought we knew each other our whole lives, like I threw your 5th Birthday or something, but I am like no, I’ve never met you before.”
