The daughter of Kobe Bryant, Natalia Bryant, is making her mark in the fashion industry despite her young age. In the same way as her father, she is working on reaching the zenith of the industry. Not only has she always been confident about who she is and who she is becoming, but she also speaks her truth without hesitation. Moreover, even at this age, she is inspiring many young girls who are interested in a career in fashion. Back in 2021, she gave an interview with Teen Vogue, in which she shared many stories about her life, her upbringing, and her career.

During the conversation, she also discussed the reasons why she was no longer playing volleyball. She always wanted to carry on a career in volleyball but chose not to participate in college. “I wanted to play volleyball in college. I played club volleyball with the intention of becoming a D1 athlete,” said Natalia.

“I love the sport.” Her decision to not play this game came after the deaths of her father and sister. In January 2020, her father and sister Gianna Bryant, as well as seven others, died in a helicopter crash.

While they were traveling to see a basketball match. After this, many things changed and it really did not feel the same for basketball fans ever again. For her daughter, it was something that couldn’t be explained.

During the interview, she explained how so many things were happening at that point in time in her life. “I quit volleyball after the accident because… A lot was going on at that time. I knew I didn’t… love volleyball as much as they love basketball,” she says.

“I’m OK with that. I just wanted to take a break from it.” As an athlete in Volleyball and carrying her career in this sport, she put down all her dreams. Furthermore, she talked about her favorite moments that she spent with her dad doing all the thighs that they loved doing together.

As of now, Natalia has done her major in film at the University of Southern California. At just 19, she is pursuing a career as a model and is also studying film.
