“I had kids and teachers and stuff at school telling me ‘it’s incredible your father is who he is,'” Jasmine said. “And I’m thinking, ‘you all haven’t met my father to my knowledge, how do you know this?'”
“So I did, I googled him, and I found a lot, clearly,” she added. “I had that conversation with my father afterwards and he just laughed and was like, ‘Hey, there’s no way to really tell you anything like that.'”

She went on to say that she was grateful for how her father helped her and her siblings feel and grow up normal while he was domineering the basketball world. Jasmine stated that she was too young at the time to comprehend what was all the chaos about. However, watching ‘The Last Dance’ helped her understand all that was going on.

Jasmine was born in 1992, the year Michael Jordan won his second NBA title. Her father retired from basketball when she was just 10 years old. It’s certainly difficult to grasp what your parents do for a living when you’re so young.
