Billionaire NBA Superstar LeBron James recently inaugurated The LeBron James Innovation Center at Nike World Headquarters in Oregon. And a few days after that, he received an ovation from Draymond Green, PJ Tucker, Lisa Leslie, Maverick Carter, and Paul Rivera in the same building.

LeBron has been a Nike Athlete for nearly two decades now and he is arguably the greatest ever. And Nike honored The King by naming a building after him. The LeBron James Innovation Center is a brand new 84,000 sq. ft state-of-the-art lab that is specifically designated for research. It is set to employ tons of scientists and researchers.

The center is home to one of the best and biggest motion camera systems in the world. And it features a full-size basketball court along with a soccer field.

LeBron James gets applauded after his building gets inaugurated

After he inaugurated the building, LeBron James had an episode of The Shop in the same center. The episode featured current NBA players Draymond Green and PJ Tucker. And WNBA Legend Lisa Leslie was present as well. The hosts Maverick Carter and Paul Rivera moderated the conversation.

LeBron’s close friend Carter bought up the topic of the building and this got applause from everyone. When asked what it meant to him, LeBron said, ” I came here last year, there was no employees here…But I brought my mom, my wife, my kids… my best friends from the hometown… That was super duper emotional, super dope”

“Today was just another form of like how dope it is. To be able to be here with the energy with all the employees that’s had a hand into it,” he added.

LeBron said that he was shell-shocked when he was able to dab up all the employees working at the center. And it just didn’t make sense to him on how he got here. This took him back to the grind and all the hard work he put in over the years. And the work that his mom and his family put in over the years.

If there is one player in the NBA who deserves this, it’s LeBron James. He has been a role model on and off the court for so long and he is showing no signs of slowing down. And his peers appreciated his greatness as they sat in his building.
