The Golden State Warriors featured in the playoffs after a wait of two years. Before that, they played 5 NBA finals in a row. This season we saw them rise back to the top once again. Not only did they qualify for the playoffs this season, but also lifted the trophy. In the last 8 years, every time the Warriors have qualified for the playoffs, they have gone all the way to the finals. This year was special in many ways for Stephen Curry and the Warriors.

Moreover, the Warriors have already started planning for the next season. Reports suggest that the Warriors are all prepared to extend Jordan Poole’s contract. After playing 3 seasons in the league, his 3rd season was truly a breakout one. He was not just a rotation player or a bench player; he was actually important for the Warriors’ system. So, the Warriors deciding to keep their faith in the 23-year-old star seems like a very wise decision.

The Warriors are poised to offer the extension offer to Jordan Poole. They are prepared with a figure in mind. As things stand, the offer is likely to start at $100 million over the course of the next four years. This means Poole is set to earn $25 million each year starting next season.

After the season he had, it seems like the Warriors board saw the potential blooming in him. The price tag seems fair as well because there are teams who would love his services and also would be willing to pay, possibly more than that. It also makes perfect sense for Poole to continue at Warriors because of the fame, stardom, and the stars around him. The team’s playing style also suits him and also, of course, the good pay and the chance to win more titles that come along.
