This comes off the back of a four-year-long contract extension that the Warriors have extended to two key players: Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins. While Poole’s deal is said to be worth $140 million dollar, Wiggins’ deal is reportedly worth $109 million.

After the altercation, Draymond Green, on the other hand, had been lying low. The uncertainty behind his position and future with the Warriors was magnified by the contract extensions of his two teammates. It was rumored that the fight initially broke out because of rising tensions regarding contracts.
